About the Parks and Recreation Network

The Parks and Recreation Network (PRN) is a network of partners that promote healthy lifestyles and an active community through the programs, parks, and places they manage. The Network was established in December 2011 after a needs assessment was completed by the NorthSky Nonprofit Network, via a Rotary Charities Grant. The needs assessment brought together the founding organizations that have established the network and developed its purpose statement: 

Purpose statement:  To foster a healthy, trusting, joyful, and connected community through parks and recreation opportunities.

Our network is a collective of organizations that offer parks and recreation services to our community members and visitors. These organizations include:
