Boardman River Nature Center

The Nature Education Reserve (NER) is a 420 acre property that is located along with shores of the Boardman River. Managed by the Grand Traverse Conservation District, the NER has the Boardman River Nature Center that helps foster the exploration, appreciation and conservation of the natural world. The Boardman River Nature Center features an exhibit gallery, nature theater and activity area for kids. The outside features native plant gardens, demonstration wetland and access to hiking trails.
