These are the organizations that provide Parks and Recreation programming in the Grand Traverse region.

Local government offering nearly 1,300 acres of recreational opportunity across a multi-organizational park network
 
A joint public body that owns and manages three parks in the Grand Traverse area, including Historic Barns Park, Hickory Meadows, and part of the West Bayfront.
 
The City of Traverse City offers 34 parks along with several recreation programs for the residents and guests of the City of Traverse City.
 
East Bay Charter Township is located at the south end of the East Arm of Grand Traverse Bay. We have seven wonderful parks for residents and visitors to enjoy.
 
We’ve been working for over 70 years to keep our local farms sustainable, the Boardman River healthy, our parklands accessible, and our children outdoors.
 
We enhance the community and quality of life through people, parks, and programs.
 
The Senior Center Network provides social, educational, recreational and wellness programming for older adults in Grand Traverse County.
 
The Grand Traverse Hiking Club Chapter is responsible for developing and maintaining 100 miles of the North Country National Scenic Trail in Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Wexford and Manistee Counties including parts of the Pere Marquette State Forest.

We are located in Traverse City, Michigan. We are a local non-profit organization, established in 1994, Traverse Area Community Sailing's mission is to provide afforable sailing opportunities to residents and visitors of the Grand Traverse Region.
 
Traverse Bay Area Youth Soccer [TBAYS] is a volunteer organization providing quality soccer programs and facilities for all youth and all levels, promoting positive physical, mental and emotional development.
 
TCAPS Learning Enrichment & Athletic Program is designed to offer co-curricular opportunities for TCAPS students in elementary and middle school.
 
For almost 50 years, TCTC has donated funds, equipment, expertise and elbow grease to area schools, organizations and individuals.
 
A traditional YMCA Residential Camp offering wonderful onsite activities as well and wilderness adventure trips across Michigan and southern Canada.
